1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 100 photos as well as read this entire description and our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and milage. On this specific Jeep the rocker on the drivers side is pushed in. The front end is scratched up and the grill is broken because my land lord dropped a tree on the font of it. (witch is just fantastic). The body lines are nice and straight. The hood doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact minis the lenses that the tree broke. If you are looking for a good looking Jeep, this one is not it. But if you want something to take off road, this could be it. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets look good throughout the interior. The cloth seats look good but do show some stains and the drivers seat is torn up. The power windows and locks all work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot and the air conditioner blows cold, too. The audio system is a aftermarket radio and seems to work properly. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in not so good running condition. It drives down the road nice. Just runs ruff. It runs ruff because 2 adjacent cylinders are down to 60PSI according to a compression test. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feel tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I did take this Jeep for a test drive despite it being down a few cylinders. The engine kept good temperature and oil presser. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The 4WD is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, it drives nice and straight with no complaints. This Jeep has a good PA inspection until the end of February 2018. It is to bad for this Jeep. It's a well optioned Jeep with low miles. All I can say is to keep your expectations so low that you can trip over them. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
