1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Ryan and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms and Conditions carefully before asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific Jeep, The paint on the hood and roof is faded out. There are a few small dents as well. All of the cladding and trim is present. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with safe tread on the rear and good tread on the front. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in BELOW to AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean. As with pretty much every older Jeep, the inserts are curling back a little on the door cards, but I don't see any excessive wear... Just some age. The same can be said for the drives seat. The cushion is not what it once was but no excessive wear. All of the seats are soft and comfortable. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. There is what looks to be dog hair on the trunk carpet. The dash is clean. The headliner is in sad shape. It is sagging and has some tears. Looks like somebody tried to fix it with fasteners. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is a aftermarket AM/FM radio with CD player. It turns on and works properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater well and the air conditioner still blows NICE COLD AIR, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Jeep Grand Cherokee appears to be in ok running and driving condition. The 4.0L straight 6 engine starts easily buts runs and idles a little ruff when its cold. Ones she warms up she runs good. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older Jeep. The suspension feels good for a older Jeep. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The exhaust is broken right behind the muffler. You can hear it rattling. There is a check engine light and a ABS light on. The check engine light is for (multiple misfires detected) and I am assuming that is from it running ruff on a cold start. Aside from that there have been no other idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts through all the gears properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Over all this Jeep is a little ruff around the edges but still seems like a good well driving 4X4. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
