Up for sale is a beautiful 1998 White Jeep Wrangler TJ Sahara with 135,000 original miles. $8999 OBO. *CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. SMOG AND REGISTRATION GOOD UNTIL AUGUST 2018.*
*4.0 I6 Cylinder Engine. Automatic Transmission. Runs STRONG.
*Like-new Bestop Replacement Top in Tan Sailcloth (quieter material) and tinted windows. I also have a Sunrider Kit that I never got around to installing that I will throw in for free!
*Everything on the vehicle is factory. No modifications, except for the Bestop Soft Top and JVC BlueTooth/USB Head Unit.
*Fresh detail. Incredibly clean, as seen in photos. Normal wear and tear here and there, but all cosmetic.
*Some other features unique to the Sahara are Cruise Control, Fog Lights, and the Safari Green seats.
NOTES:
- I purchased the vehicle in August 2016 from a father and son that were the original owners. I had my personal mechanic at Pristine Automotive on Santa Monica perform all maintenance (**I have the original purchase and all of my maintenance records).
This truck has been babied the past 18 months--I put less than 6,000 miles on it. The tires are like-new with plenty of tread. I was planning on continuing with cosmetic adjustments as well, but don't have the time.
**The truck is ready to go, but there are a few more things I would suggest to keep it perfect:
- Transfer case needs adjusting. Just started making the quiet clicking sound commonly associated with this model.
- Brake pads may need to be replaced. They are just starting to squeak.
- Ignition needs to be adjusted/replaced. The key needs a deft hand to turn. I personally have gotten used to it.
- There is a small dent/chip on the passenger side door.
- Slight rust spots here and there on undercarriage. Non-issue for me, but small parts can easily be replaced.
- AC needs a quick Freon refill. Blows fine, just not cold right now.
**The price with these suggestions is reflected. I am willing to entertain reasonable offers, but after researching about the current market value for this year, model, full-doors, color combination, mileage, original factory condition, etc., you will not find a better Jeep Wrangler TJ for this price in the area.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I will not entertain low-ball offers or haggling over e-mail. If you'd like to test drive the vehicle, please reach out. Thank you, and Happy New Year!
