Solid truck, 177k miles showing. The gauge was updated to a newer version when the engine conversion was done so actual mileage unknown. Judging from the condition of the mechanicals and the normal mileage on a truck of this history, I would expect the actual mileage to be in the region of 120k.5 speed manual, full time 4wd with selectable center diff lock and high -low gear ratios

Raised air intake, military style recovery bumper and rear hitch. Roll hoop behind front seats.

This defender was born with a 2.5 normally aspirated diesel. The drivetrain has been updated to a 200 Tdi turbo diesel engine and higher geared transfer case which gives excellent road speed and is far more suitable fortoday'straffic speeds. This truck accelerates up hills and is quite capable of highway speeds.

No smoke on start-up, this engine is in excellent condition.Starts well in any temperature.Drives nicely, very strong engine, nice tight steering.higher ratio gears give good speed flexibility. I will service the truck upon sale with new oil, oil filter and fuel filter.

Body is in original condition, started as a radio truck and still has tools mounted to hood.The wheels are the latest wolf rims and the sideintake molding is also from a wolf truck.Full soft top with military roll hoop.The retainer bar and rear belts are installed for rear seats but no rear seats are currently fitted.

Front underbody protection plate fitted.

Interior is ok, the seats have been updated, but no stereo, no AC.Just heat and windows!!

I have full hard top, sides and a rear door for the truck if desired.

There are 2 canvas's, a full weather canvas and a lighter, roll up sides summer canvas...... the coolest summer cruising

The original worn paint has been replenished over the years, panels are generally good and flat.Frame is in good condition, rear cross-member original and fine.The bulkhead is sound.

Spare tire mount on hood, Tires are matching Michelin XZL’s, fronts are excellent, rears are 50%.

I bought this truck in the UK and have been driving it here for 18mths, I have 3 other Rovers and unfortunately can not keep them all, I drive a lot of Defenders and every time I get out of this truck I say the same thing...."Wow this truck drives nicely!"
