1984 Land Rover Defender Description

For sale is a 1984 Land Rover Defender 90 2.5 NA Diesel LHD, Italian import. The VIN number is SALLDVAC8AA244116. Parts have been ordered from Paddocks to fix the more pressing issues with the dash, ignition switch, new sills and the rear end panel (quarter paneland capping), a new diesel lift pump and fuel filter.I have also ordered some much better fully functional and complete doors used (with door cards) of the same type as the ones on the 1984 model, pull up handles. These parts will be provided to the buyer, the cost for everything is about 1100 dollars. If I have to install them the price will change.
These parts will be included in the sale but installation will be extra if desired.

Recently imported Land Rover Defender 90 LHD with the 2.5Liter Naturally Aspirated diesel engine. It's the pickup/soft top version. Legally imported with all customs clearance documents and Virginia title available in my name.

This is a project Defender. Cosmetically the Defender is rough, needs body panels replaced but it's all cosmetic work. Interior also needs work. Needs doors but I will include complete doors in the sale. Dash needs about 400 dollars worth of new parts which are on order and will also be included in the sale. Needs plenty of things replaced but it's all available and reasonably priced at paddockspares.com.

Frame is in great shape. Exhaust rattling due to missing hanger. Engine runs well, chassis is solid and there is no rust other than very minor surface rust. Price reflects condition and please only send me sensible offers. I cannot take trades as I am an importer and dealer who doesn't deal in trades, I sell cars for cash.
