This is an extremely rare opportunity to own an iconic vehicle with endless potential. Built by HCB Angus in the late 80s for Dorset fire brigade the vehicle has been posted at various duty stations ranging from Lyme Regis to Gillingham and finally ending its time in the UK at Westland Helicopters. This truck can easily be enjoyed in its current configuration as an amazing overland expedition rig or converted over to the highly popularized Khan crew cab pickup style.

Exterior:

The truck sports a vibrant fire engine red and the original reflective liveries from its service days.

Interior:

The interior has the original crew cab setup seating five comfortably with equipment storage for tools and oxygen tanks. The rear storage compartment originally held a foam machine and generator that was removed when the truck was decommissioned but the 1000-liter water tank is still installed.

Engine and gearbox:

Standard and original 3.5 V8 engine is in perfect operating condition fitted with a 5-speed gearbox and only 27,000 miles. The original design for the engine came from the Buick 215 V8 engine adopted by Land Rover in the early 60's. The light alloy engine producing 134hp allows the truck to easily get up to 75-80mph cruising speeds on the highway. The six-wheel drive setup supplies power to all six wheels making this a great vehicle for off road adventures.
