1999 Land Rover Range Rover Description

Walkaround video link: eBay will not allow me to insert a link but if you search "1999 Range Rover P38 Callaway 4.6 HSE" in YouTube it will be one of the first options. Look for a posting by Erich Brock.
This is a 1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE Callaway. Callaway Cars developed a high performance power train and appearance package to be fitted to a limited run of 220 Range Rover 4.6 HSE's. This is #102 of 220. It is finished in Epsom Green with Ash leather interior. This is a well sorted, perfect running example that is in need of no repairs at the moment.
The following items have been replaced in the past 3,000 miles:- All four ignition coil packs- Spark plugs- Ignition wires- Crank position sensor- HVAC trinary switch- HVAC blend motors- HVAC control panel- Fluids front to back- Transmission serviced- Rebuilt front driveshaft- Brand new headlinerI just installed a new set of tires, Nitto Terra Grappler G2 275/65-18. These are three inches taller than stock and give the truck an aggressive look while enhancing off road/snow capability. The air suspension has been re calibrated to clear the taller tires.
The interior shows better than average wear for a vehicle of this age and looks sharp in black. I have kept it really clean and maintained. I have owned three Land Rovers previously including two Range Rover Classic's and a 2004 Discovery II. I know and understand these cars.
To my knowledge the head gaskets have not been replaced on this truck. It does not consume coolant or make oil. The motor runs flawlessly and stays cool under all conditions. If properly maintained, I don't see why it couldn't provide many years of happy motoring. Transmission shifts smoothly and does not slip.
The exterior of the truck is in great condition. Very straight with the exception of a small ding on the passenger rear door, as noted in the YouTube video. There is some light fading starting to show on the roof and the hood has some etching.
It is still on air suspension that works flawlessly.
The only thing that doesn't work on the truck is the cruise control. I have not taken the time to troubleshoot the system but I'd suspect it's the vacuum control unit in the engine compartment.
This truck was nearly $90,000 new and is a special vehicle to drive. Perfect for an avid Land Rover nut, like myself. Selling to upgrade to a Land Rover LR3.
