1992 Land Rover Range Rover County Description
For Sale is my 1992 Range Rover Classic with 189K miles. This is a rare late model SWB (short wheel base) version, it has ABS and normal shocks and springs suspension (not the trouble some air suspension). This car was purchased after being in indoor storage for 10 years. If you are looking for a reliable solid truck with all of the mechanical maintenance done then this is the one for you. The body is a good shape it does have scratches, dents as pictured. The footwells and driver side inner fender were also replaced due to typical rover water issues in the cabin. I tried my best to show the problem areas in the pics. If you are looking at this car then you know the histor, allure performance of this vehicle and also the sore spots! This was a passion project for me so I really enjoyed working on it. It does need some cosmetics. Some of the interior trim show the wear and tear a 25 year old truck. I have tried my best to replace, clean and upgrade when possible.
This is a perfect beach house or mountain cabin truck!!
The engine runs perfect! starts right up no overheat, smoke or leaks. The steering is precise all of the suspension bushings are in good shape. It is a great highway cruiser actually rides smoother than my BMW M5! all of the electrics work. power windows, seat adjustments, power locks sunroof all work. The tailgate in good shape (rare) As time goes by it is getting more difficult to find these trucks in good shape. Brakes work great all calipers pads and brake lines were changed. The AC was never recharged, the blower, heater core are new. This color is called Plymouth Blue and it is very rare. the chassis and under body has been painted to preserve it.
There is nothing for you to do mechanically!
All of the common major parts have been taken care of heather blower/cor, headliner, tailgate etc....Just finished the making her look good!
Serious bidders only.More pics at s61.photobucket.com/user/speedworksusa/slideshow/Range%20Rover%20Classic
