1995 Land Rover Range Rover Description

1995 Range Rover SWB Classic.
We have a very small european restoration company in Durham NC called Phaeton Motorwerks and specialize in Vanagons and Porsche restorations. I have been a european master tech for almost 20 years with impeccable references and reviews. So, I will be as honest as it comes with this Truck.
To start, I have loved this particular year of Rover for the obvious reasons. If you are looking at you know those reasons. However, I had purchased this awhile back as a tow vehicle for our fishing boat. Soon after purchasing it we found another vehicle that we would rather use daily and tow with (r320 cdi 4matic). Subsequently, this is just sitting. We sadly don't have the time to restore it or store it. It is a wonderful work truck.
As always, it does come with some quirks. For example, the rear windows do not work. It is the fault of the front switches. Switches are included. I just don't want to fix it. Needs front left abs sensor. (not included). And the front power seat module as failed ($400). So, the power seats are inop and so are the mirrors. They worked a bit ago then just stopped. I pulled the module out and found that the board was quite corroded. Not because of the typical failed battery, but from moisture corrosion on the board itself. Can be rebuilt.
AC works wonderful. Heat works very well. The suspension was converter last year to Old Man EMU and the ride is excellent. Rear brakes we replace last fall. The fronts pads have approx 60% left and the rotors are in very good shape and a long life left. However, I am including a new set of rotors in the rover. Solely for the reason that I don't need them in stock.
It has its fair share of use. Has a few nicks and scratches. Moreover, the body was resprayed some time ago and it has held up nicely. You only notice it because of a bit of overspary under the hood.
The interior is in pretty good shape aside from the hole in the drivers seat (our price is $325 to repair) and the carpet missing from the front foot wells. It wore out so it was removed and replace with Rover floor mats. One interior pic shows the drivers door without the wood trim. That has been repair.
The 4wd system works perfectly. Our fishing boat is only 15 feet and is a 3 seater. Rather small so the towing was very minimal. Moreover, it has rarely seen much long distance travel use.
Engine does not have any mechanical issues. No ticks, doesn't smoke and no issues with the head gaskets. Did have the classic front crank seal leak (fixed) that left a bit of oil spray on the undercarriage. Hey, it prevents rust right? Does not drip anything on the ground.
Tires replace last year and are in very good shape.
No Rust.
Just a solid truck worth the restoration or just an awesome off road truck. Ready to be used.
Lastly, I do know the market value of these so please don't bother me with what you think it might be worth. I am only selling it for less than what we have in it. I am more than willing to work out fixing the few issues for a very small bill. I am willing to answer any questions and ad more pics anytime.
My 8 year old son take all of our vehicle photos. I hope you enjoy. He really loves helping. Regards,
