1997 Lexus LX Description

I have been enjoying this beast but it is time to sell it and move on. I picked this vehicle up early this year. Interior in good shape--NON SMOKER. Exterior extremely straight but the paint had Sun faded. Mechanically in solid shape other then the beginnings of a rod knock at higher RPM.
As a 30+ year mechanic I completed a complete overhaul on the engine including NEW pistons, bearings, timing chain set, oil pump, gaskets and seals. NEW water pump, thermostat and complete valve job. Along with the engine overhaul, I overhauled the starter and factory alternator with New OEM contacts, bearings and brushes. The radiator was flushed, cleaned and pressure tested. I replaced both oxygen sensors with OEM.
NEW KYB shocks installed all around. All brakes have been inspected and bled and are in good shape. All gear boxes( transfer, front and rear differentials) have New BG full synthetic gear oil. All seals- both input and output on the transfer case and axles were inspected and are in good shape. Every light was checked out and replaced as needed. The tires sit at 70%+ tread left and are oversized 315/75 16. NO STONE LEFT UNTURNED!!
I have put over a 1000 miles on and have had no issues.
As stated earlier, the body was in great shape- NO RUST
All power equipment works as it should including both front seats, the windows, the sunroof, the mirrors and cruise control
Has factory AM/FM/CASS/5 disc CD changer.
Rear power floor heater works and is quite-rarely used
Has the fold up/down rear jump seats
The LX comes with a Yakima locking- new keys made- roof/bike rack as well as a NEW Safari rack I picked up from a buddy who sold his Cruiser of same year.
This vehicle is for sale locally and I hold the right to end auction at anytime. I have sold a few vehicles on ebay and have hand delivered 3 of them- for expenses- from New York to California. I can and will help in the delivery process as needed.
