1983 Lincoln Mark Series Emilio Pucci Edition Description

It took me a long time to find this car and now it pains me to give it up! This Mark 6 is ONE of 1038 four door Pucci's built in 1983 with the velour interior. This Lincoln has my favorite (and trim unique) exterior color combination of Dark Blue Cambria cloth top and Blue Flannel Mist body. My example has the cloth interior. The car came to me from Arizona in fine mechanical condition. Nevertheless, I had the front end rebuilt, new larger tires installed (215/70R15), brakes done, original paint detailed, new rag top installed, tuned up and the driver window motor replaced. The original spoke rims were frosted over... it's impossible to find them or have them refinished so the car now has a new set of OEM lacey-spoke rims. (They are not correct for the car but still year correct for the model.) The previous owner made the mistake of removing the original pinstripes in an effort to "clean up" the car. The Pucci emblems were recreated for me and I did my best to replicate the (five colored) stripes myself. The car has new shocks all the way around AND new trunk lid and hood shocks. The gauges and trip computer are n working order and I believe the previous owner had the factory radio converted to a digital tuner. I replaced the headliner but not the vanity mirrors. There are a few bug bites in the front fascia and the vacuum controlled headlights eventually loose pressure after several days of sitting. The dash board speaker grilles have deteriorated so there is a color matched, molded cover installed to hide it.
