1994 Lotus Esprit S4 Coupe 2-Door Description
I am Testing waters on selling my 1994 Esprit S4. Some changes in business may make more sense to sell and would rather test now to leave my options open, etc.
I have had it for four years and enjoyed every minute of it. By far the most reliable "fun" car I have ever owned (prior have had Porsche 911 Carrera Cab, Porsche 928 S4, two Nissan 300ZX's, etc.). Aside from a few very minor chips the paint is flawless. I have it professionally detailed, FULL polish - the works!, by a professional, once per year. None of the photos have been edited whatsoever.
1994 Esprit S4~ 34k milesTONS of service history and documents. Literally a 3 inch 3 ring binder.ALL services up to date.PO put on blue timing belt, approx 17k miles ago, 4.5 years. I have it checked annually along with cams and valves at Regogo Racing in Dallas. They know the car very well.Never wrecked, tracked or raced.Interior has zero blemishes.
Upgrades and stuff..- Intake spacers from recent group buy
- Alunox peformance header (installed by Regogo)
- Elise streering wheel with airbag; have original steering wheel
- Later model Nova wheels, not a scratch on them. Have original wheels as well.
- Cat delete pipe, have catalytic converter. Passes smog and inspection here in TX with flying colors
- New AC compressor along with R12 installed summer of 2016
- Upgraded front brakes to later model Esprit Brembo's. At same time installed SS lines all around.
- New clutch and flywheel approx 7k miles ago along with new master cylinder
- New clutch master cylinder 01/2017
- Clutch line upgraded to SS
- Carpet replaced with German velour, it is seriously the nicest you will have ever seen. Matching floor mats with "ESPRIT S4" stitched.
- Added speaker panels to front of both doors to match later models. Stereo upgraded to an Alpine double-DIN have unit, works extremely well.
- Integrated Passport radar detector with laser jammer and sensors front and rear.
- New Spax shocks installed front and rear along with springs summer of 2015
- Added remote door lock and unlock and remote boot/hatch release.
- Upgraded rear lights to later model with round taillights. Have original lights and carbon fiber center plinth if want to go back to original
- Both sunroofs included along with bag
- Electric chargecooler
- Center exit exhaust
- Cruise control added, looks OEM.
- Clutch fluid, full synthetic, replaced 01/2017
I also have a brand new front windshield with rubber surround I got which is still in the box. Windshield in the car has a very, very small (maybe 1/4" chip which is not spidering at all. I bought it as I knew might be hard to find at a later date).
$34,500 Including the new windshield and original wheels (which do not have tires on them).$30,000 Without the Nova wheels or windshield. Would put new tires on the original wheels. Second photo is with the OEM wheels.
This car is seriously worth every penny and then some. Absolutely needs nothing, mechanically, cosmetically or otherwise.
