2000 Lotus Esprit V8 Coupe 2-Door Description

2000 Lotus Esprit - V8 Twin Turbo

Excellent 2000 Lotus Esprit V8 twin turbo. The car is in full working order without any issues. The car has 32,XXX miles on it. The only item on the car that needs attention is the windshield washer sprayer. In the last year the car has had:

• Both headlight motors overhauled

• New Sumitomo tires all the way around

• All fluids flushed and changed: Oil, coolant, breaks and gearbox

• Rear wheel bearing

• New Battery

• The car had a "C" service 10K miles ago. (Full belt change) However will need another shortly due to the time interval on the last service. These service records outlining this service are included.

The car runs and drives great. The clutch and gearbox shift smoothly and operate as they should. The A/C blows cold and all the lights on the car are operational. The interior shows very little signs of wear and the black leather seats are in perfect shape. The exterior paint is original and in great shape. That said, the car is 16 years old and has a few blemishes here and there as to be expected on a car this age.

A few other details:

• Car retains both sets of keys along with Cobra fobs and security touch keys

• Car retains original body colored wind deflector

• Original owners manual

• The car passed Maryland emissions inspection in September 2016

• Brake pads and discs are all within AP Racing operating specification

• The car has a clear title with no accidents in its history

The car retains its original exhaust however it has been taken off and replaced with CAT back exhaust elimination pipes. These were obtained from JAE Lotus and installed by a local shop. The muffler merely unbolts and these units replace it. The original muffler is provided and can be re-installed in minutes if desired. The car sounds beautiful with the JAE pipes! Of note, there is a slight resonation in the driver's side catalytic convertor. This can be heard at times during idle. Both CATs are working and the car passed Maryland emissions inspection in Sep 2016. (There are also no lights on the dash.)

Payment for the car will be wire transfers or cash. Please do not utilize PayPal to pay for the car. They tie up the funds for weeks and grab a large premium. If PayPal is utilized a 3% up charge will be added to cover fees. The car will not be shipped or released until successful wire transfer has been conducted and verified. If you plan to pay cash we will conduct that transaction at the bank.
