2003 Mazda Protege Description

Engine starts but water pump is seized and likely blown head gasket also. Could be a really nice car to drop another engine into or rebuild this engine.
Body is very clean except for scratches shown and some rust (bubbled paint) on rear panel below gas door as shown in photos. No accidents. All body panels fit well and doors have edge protectors. Interior is very clean. No rips or tares. Tires and brakes have less than 10.000 miles on them.
Purchased in July 2014 from family member who was original owner since new. Was well maintained before water pump failed.
For local pick-up only. Car starts and could be driven a very short distance, maybe 5-10 miles, before it overheats-although I can't promise that. But if you live close, that may be an option for getting it home.
