1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300td 300tdt 300 td tdt W123 wagon Description

1985 Mercedes 300TD Turbo Wagon with back seat.
I purchased this wagon in 2012 to have as a spare car. As much as I LOVE this vehicle, I do not need a third car and would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate it and perhaps use it as a daily driver.
This car is not a native to New England. It came from the mid west. I purchased it because it was a clean car with very little rust issues and had not seen any harsh New England Winters. Since I have owned it, it was always put away in my barn during the Winter months.
For a 31 year old car, it is in good condition. The seats had recently been reupholstered and it had recently gotten a new paint job before I purchased the car. The interior is as you might expect for a 31 year old car with some cracking on the dash and some trim pieces.
The exterior has some minor dings, and the clear coat has begun to flake a bit on the roof with some small issues around some areas of the trim. See pics.
The Good:
A/C and Heat Work
Window controls work
All gauges and lights are working as they should
Original Becker radio and antenna are operational
1985 Car phone with associated car phone antenna - a real antique!
Rear shock actuators replaced in my ownership and work great.
Recently all new belts.
Good tires and brakes. New driver side brake caliper and associated flex hose
Currently registered and had passed state inspection with no problems.
Car has third row rear facing seat feature and therefore seats 7!
Climate Control unit has been recently replaced
Low miles!
Comes with extra set of MB wheels (2)
Has a lot of power, shifts well and is a pleasure to drive.
The tlc that maybe needed:
Automatic door locks and cruise control were deactivated prior to my ownership presumably due to a vacuum leak
Some minor paint issues.
Water seems to seep in during heavy rain. Know it is not the Sun roof or associated drains, but suspect door seals.
Interior rear carpet has faded a bit
Climate Control - duct valves need replacing, currently been adjusted for all vents in open position.
Has very minor anti-freeze leak that comes and goes on its own. Has not gotten any worse over the years.
This wagon is registered and ready for your viewing and test drive. Please email me to set up a viewing time if you wish.
As I see it, this car is fine as is sits as a daily driver. If you wanted to invest some time and throw a little $ at it, you could have a $12K+ car easy.
This car is being sold "as is" in "where is" with no warranties expressed or implied.
I would invest the time and money at it myself, but as a family man my hands are tied renovating a 1953 Spartanette travel trailer.
I truly hope if you are interested in this fine vehicle that you will make the effort to come see it in person and test drive it. If you live far away and can not make the trip, I am more then happy to help pick you up at the Manchester, NH airport or to assist your shipper.
Due to the age, State of New Hampshire does not require a Certificate of Title. You will get a bill of sale and an old out of date last known Certificate of Title from the State of Missouri.
Let me know if you have any questions. This is a great car and designed to last!!
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers.
