2000 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class ROADSTER Description

Up for bids is this SLK230 Kompressor AMG package. This is a rare 5-speed with all the option except for navigationand power seats. The Benz is in good condition for its age, its got a life time of service records all done in benz dealer, they only use Mobile 1 fully synthetic. Clean car fax never in an accident, and mechanically sound. The engine sounds great, the supercharge works great, and the clutch is in great shape. No check engine lights or any other light stay on, which is a plus. The radio is original, it does need a new amplifier in order to have sound, or just change the head unit for an aftermarket. Its got the bose system so it might be worth it to get a new amp. The 6 cd-changer seams to work fine, but since I have no sound, I am not sure. The ac compressor seems to be working, but the interior fan/blower is seized, fairly easy to change, its just two clips, and 3 bolts right under the glove box. Blower is about $60.00 right here on ebay. The car has the usual vinyl interior trim paint chipping, this happens to all SLK of that generation, easy fix. The leather seat are in great shape for the age, and the upper dash is in great shape to. There is a couple of small cracks in the lower bezels/dash see pictures. The exterior is original paint, expect small chips, nicks, tiny rust about an inch at the bottom of both front fenders, and dents. I tried to get all the good dents in the pictures. The front bumper is cracked at the bottom, see pictures. The tiny roof need a new head liner, you could literallydo this yourself very easy look at youtube. Will need tires soon, I give them about a year of use. Brakes seem great, the roof opens and closes perfectly, so do all the windows. all the lights work, heated seats work, and the cruise control is amazing. I think that covers most of it, please see pictures, I am honest, what you see is what you are getting, no surprises.
