As is stated above, this is a NO RESERVE auction for a 2000 Mercedes CLK320 convertible. It needs a little TLC, but overall it is a nice, sharp looking car. This is the mid-sized convertible with a rear seat. This Mercedes has the 3.2L V6 engine, and it is fast! The engine runs well, has plenty of power, and always starts right up. It does not overheat, smoke or have blow-by. The transmission shifts normally through all of the gears. The brakes are strong. The suspension feels about average for the age and mileage of the car. It feels firm yet comfortable on both back roads and highways.

The black interior of this car is in average condition for the age. It’s not perfect. The leather seats have a few small, busted seams in a few places, but the carpets and mats are relatively clean and the dash and door panels do not have any cracks or sun damage. This car is loaded with options. There are twin airbags, power seats, mirrors, windows, and convertible top. It has cruise control, heated seats, and climate controls that can be adjusted separately for the driver and front passenger. The heat works extremely well, but A/C blows outside temperature air. There are lots of small things that could be easily fixed, or just lived with. The driver’s window switch works, but only if pressed lightly. The driver’s power seat control panel needs a new trim plate to go over top of it. The passenger’s power seat controls work, except for “forward / backward” adjustment and so may need the switch repaired or replaced. The center console cup-holder and the hatch that hides it are broken. The power top needs new tension cables, but can still be operated fine if you lift the top about 6 inches by hand after you unlatch it. The dash is showing the “SRS” light and the diagnostics say that there is a “Defective Lamp” which is one of the front running lights that is out.

The silver exterior of the car is in pretty good shape for the age. There is no rust, but the paint has flaked in a few small places, most notably on the rear bumper and some on the driver’s side by the rear wheel arch. The hood ornament is missing also. The convertible top is in good shape and does not leak. The factory 16” alloy wheels look sharp and have good tread on their tires. The HID headlights are very bright and illuminate the road very well. There are a few scratches here and there. Barely visible on the hood someone has scratched the word “bitch” into the paint. It’s only visible up close, but I suppose the hood could be re-sprayed or touched up to cover it.

This is a good older Mercedes that will make a great summer or year-round cruiser for someone. It needs some TLC, but with some minor work a lot of the little things can easily be fixed while driving and enjoying the car. The title is clear, and it is ready for a new owner. Please read the description thoroughly, look at all of the pictures, and come see the car to decide for yourself before you bid. I invite serious bidders to please come and see / drive this car. I reserve the right to accept offers made on this car that are in accordance with ebay rules, but will not accept any offers on the final day or after the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for transport. I only accept cash, so the buyer must come in person to make the cash payment and sign / pick-up the title.

A $200 deposit is due directly at the end of the auction. This can be paid through Paypal. The remainder is to be paid in cash at the time of pick-up. This deposit is non-refundable.

Bidders with zero or negative feedback must contact me prior to bidding – I will delete your bids otherwise. Do not send me angry emails when you bid without contacting me, and then find that I have deleted your bids and blocked you from further bidding on the auction.

This car is sold AS IS, with NO WARRANTY. Please examine the supersized photos, and contact me if you have any questions. Serious bidders are welcome to come see the car, just give me notice ahead of time so I can adjust my schedule.

Since this car is being sold by a dealership, if on arrival for pick-up the buyer has a valid driver's license and proof of insurance, a 2-month temp. tag can be supplied at an additional cost of $35.

Payment is to be made in CASH at pick-up. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The car must be picked up within 10 days of the end of the auction.
