As the brochure describes it, AMG "bored out, beefed up, forged, stroked, shaped, tightened, and tuned" the luxury sedan, squeezing 3.6 liters from the stock 2.8L 6 cylinder. They also boosted HP from 194 to 278 and dropped 0-60 time from 8.3 to 5.9. The C 36 is officially the very first AMG model to be imported into the US. This rare example has only 82,000 miles and always owned by older drivers who babied it! The car was bought new on 12/14/95 at Silver Star MB in Thousand Oaks and then Sold again at 38k Miles by Mercedes of Calabassas as a Starmark pre-owned . It is a three owner car and has been in the dry salt free environment since new. - Etc.... The car is finished in beautiful Brilliant Silver and is gorgeous and was just fully buffed and hand waxed. The body on the car is laser straight, and does not have even a single door ding. Paint is all in excellent shape and shines like a diamond. This Benz has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life and really shows. The car is equipped with the AMG option group which includes a beautiful interior, AMG emblems, exhaust tip, body kit, and specially designed staggered AMG alloy wheels. Another distinguishing feature is the carbon fiber door pillars. The car was also just updated to the newer style "Avantgarde" grille. It also has the clear front corners, and newer style LED tail lights. Original tail lights included.
The car is riding on 17" AMG Monoblock alloy wheels, specifically designed for the C 36. They are wrapped in BRAND NEW Performance radials. The original wheels all just had the lips refinished and are perfect with no damage.
The beautiful black leather interior and is all original and looks like new. The car has brand new original MB floor mats, complete set of tools, jack, and 1 key. Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. The car will also include all of its original books, quick reference guides, and service history. It also has the original full size AMG spare and tire. Headliner was also just beautifully restored.
Mechanically, this Benz is in perfect condition and runs and drives great. It has very healthy and very quick 3.6L. These AMG engines are hand built by a single engine builder to ensure the highest quality. The car has a very strong automatic transmission that shifts perfect. The motor puts out 278hp and is plenty to move this nimble C Class around. The car has just been serviced at an Mercedes Benz Certified shop at 76,000 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic and also a new water pump and coolant flush. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it. The previous owner of this car obsessed maintaining this C 36.
