Non-turbo
The good:
Have most service records.
New tires..195/65R15 Kinergy ECO and front wheel alignment..
New front and back brakes - replace the rear rotors, resurface the front rotors, replace the center link on the front suspension.
Replace the rear tortion sway bar link..........
Replace the drive shaft center support.
Replace the electro magnetic heater control valve with recirculating pump.
Replace the blower motor and filter, works to move air through the HVAC system.
Replace the ignition tumbler with new code.
25-30 mpg in town 35+ on highway (depending on how your drive)
Solid and very safe..It's a rare diesel car because Mercedes did not make many E300 in 1995.

The not-so-good:
Drivers seat worn through in one area,
this car is 21 years old. Paint is fading on roof and trunk deck
Has a few bumps and bruises, nothing major.
Back windows do not go down. sun roof is not working..
Transmission is slipping between 2nd and 3rd - needs a k1 Accumulator spring kit
You can have a mechanic come look at it or take it to a mechanic if wanted...Please feel free to ask any question and I will answer as honestly as I can-since I do not know too much about this car.

I bought this car to consider bringing it back to better condition. I have found another car that will be better for my wants and offering this w124.
