1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

This car was purchased in 2011 with a conversion kit installed which allowed it to be used with vegetable oil. It was a great little car for a while, with the W123 engine that never quits. The system eventually developed problems when the glycerin from the oil clogged everything up. We knew little about how to fix it, so it has sat here for 3 years. The tires are pretty shot, but they were new in 2011. The battery was new, and has been disconnected. The car has not been started in some time, and does not start now, so we are looking really to sell it for parts, or to someone that has the know-how to fix her up as she should be, because I think she still has a lot of potential. The body is straight, just a lot of gunk around the gas tank from pouring the vegetable oil on windy days, and the interior is good.There is some rust under the mats in the front, and when we last used it, the power windows, except for the driver's side I believe, had stopped working.
