This is an original 1995 R129 Mercedes SL 500, V8 equipped.

Clean Carfax with no accidents or paintwork, ever. Excellent condition throughout, always garaged, always an Indiana resident and stored winters.

Again, it is an original car with no paintwork, the interior is in excellent condition with little to no wear, driver's side seat bolster (common wear area) is in excellent condition as is the wood, carpet and other interior surfaces. Original radio is still installed and works as intended, as does the retractable antenna.
Recently replaced convertible top is in great condition, it is stored with the soft top up and the hard top off the car so plastic windows in the convertible top don't get cracked or brittle, top is excellent. The top functions, up and down, perfectly. The top cylinders do not leak, squeak or cause any problems. Rubber seals and trim all around the car is in excellent condition, nothing is dried out, brittle or worn.
Mechanically the car starts and drives beautifully. The car was just serviced by 'Quality Import Service' (Mercedes-Benz specialty shop in Elkhart, IN). Please contact me for details of that service (records available). The transmission shifts into gear smoothly, and changes gears smoothly while accelerating and decelerating, no clunking, no lugging, no transmission issues in this car. The undercarriage is in good order, there is no rust anywhere on this car (of course).
The original keys are with the car as is the original manual pouch with a full set of books and manuals and assorted documents / brochures from Mercedes. The First Aid and tool kits are also both present with the car.
