FUN FACT:The AMG M156 engine in the 2008-2011 M-Class is a "true" AMG motor. I say this because the M156 is the only engine that AMG designed and built from the ground up. Historically, AMG has taken a Mercedes engine and either added turbos or a supercharger. Whereas the M156 is a naturally aspirated engine that was designed and built exclusively by AMG. This engine holds 10.5 qts. of oil and produces 503 HP and 479 ft./lbs. of torque.
