1997 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series Description

1997 Mercedes Benz E420. The interior and exterior of the car are in beautiful condition. The car drives nicely however there are a couple of issues and please read this part carefully if interested in the car. The Check Engine light is on in the car. I took the car to a garage and the reason for the light is because the one control board inside of the transmission needs to be replaced. The estimated repair cost is $600-$800(if you have mechanical experience you could probably fix it much cheaper). In addition, the windshield wipers do not engage. The reason for this is unknown but probably due to the wiper motor or switch. That shouldn't cost too much to fix though. With that being said, once these issues are fixed this car will be in fantastic condition and will run beautifully. The blue book value of the car is $2,400.
