1995 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S600
1995 Mercedes-Benz 600-Series Description
This is a very clean low mileage Mercedes V12 S600 sedan. Everything in the car works as it should and is in order.
Here are the items I have done to the car:
Rebuilt Radio Amplifier New Central Locking Vacuum Pump New Rear A/C nozzle New A/C expansion Valve New Rear evaporator New Front evaporator New A/C Receiver/Dryer New Rear Heater Core New Front Heater Core New Water Pump New Thermostat New Fan Clutch New Radiator Hoses New Heater Hoses in Rear of engine (9 of them) New Cylinder Head to Heater Feed Seals Coolant Flush New temperature Sensors Transmission Flush with new Filter New Fuel Filter New Air Filters New High Voltage Rotors New High Voltage Distributor Caps New Breather tube under Intake New Right Rear Window Regulator
The expensive A/C work has been done with both evaporators and heater cores replaced. The A/C blows ice cold. There is some rubbing on the right rear arm rest as shown in the pictures. The paint is very good. I would say excellent, but there is a blemish on the rear of the right wheel opening that can be seen in the photo. There are two little fine scratches on the hood that I saw but they don't come out in pictures. I might have missed a few more little things but that is all I saw. The wheels are very nice, but they are original and 22 years old so the finish is not perfectly polished. Still, they are better than many newer ones I see. I am being picky here but did not want to miss anything.
It has all the S600 toys like traction control, power rear sear reclining, rear passenger vanity lights, adjustable suspension, folding rear headrests for better rear visibility, rear sunshade, etc. Some of the seat photos make it look like the leather has cracks, but there are no cracks whatsoever and the leather is nice and soft. I went to the dealer to get it inspected and their machine was down and so they gave me a complimentary inspection. They said that the lower oil pan has a slight leak and that one of the rubber seals for the upper a-arm is cracked. I do not know of anything else wrong with the car. It runs and drives good and I think that it could be driven anywhere in the continental US. I simply do not drive the car and am getting closer to retirement and want to get a new car that has a warranty so I can not worry about any repairs on expensive cars. That is why I am selling it. I am fine with having the car inspected prior to purchase at the location of your choice with a reasonable driving distance for me at buyers expense.
Please contact me and I will send my telephone if you want to discuss more.
