1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

I am selling my beloved Mercedes Benz - a true CZBRGR in Paradise. It is a joy on weekends and on the freeway, it is meticulously cared for and tank-like this 1990 300CE Mercedes Benz. The M104 inline-6 engine has been well cared for and runs well. The cabin is well suited and appointed for the perfect drive. Massive windows with no pillars cast a wide open, unparalleled view with the comfort of a classic Mercedes Benz. They don't make them like they used to and this w124 might be one of the last built and maintained accordingly.

The 124 chassis 300/E-Class, and its low-production Coupe and Cabriolet - Coupe in this scenario were the ultimate expressions of the mid-range Benz, with conservative-yet-influential design, premium materials, lively straight-six engines and price tags that ensured exclusivity. Many have said that this generation of E-Class cars represents the last old-guard, engineers-in-charge, cost-no-object Benzes, and I won't disagree. I have driven and taken care of this car with the ultimate care and I am looking to pass it on to the next person with the same thought.
These were expensive, low-production cars, and yet thanks to their inherent quality, they enjoy a high survival rate. Being based on the globally popular, immensely proven 124 (nearly 2.74 million variants built!) means that the Coupe's and Cabriolet's mechanicals hold no mystery. They date back to a time when Mercedes-Benz engineered many components to be serviceable.
Combining efficient, ageless design and a distinctly German take on luxury, the 124 Coupe and Cabriolet are among the Mercedes-Benzes that could truly be considered heirloom-quality. They remain practical for everyday use, and are undoubtedly "youngtimer" classic cars that will be cherished in the future.

Engine Overview
Same as the 300 SL, a M104 DOHC, 24-valve 2,964-cc engine with CIS-E continuous fuel injection. Better breathing and a 10:1 compression ratio brought quite a power bump in 1990: 217 hp at 5,500 RPM and 195-lb.ft. of torque at 4,600 RPM.
