This is a 2003 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor Coupe with 155k original miles. I have owned this car for about a year now and it has been good to me and now it is time for a new car. The car is a lot fun to drive as it is supercharged from the factory and the car moves! It has been a good solid car and it is perfect for a new driver or a student as it's a Mercedes Benz and it is very well built. This car is an old salvage, it was salvaged long time before I bought it so I would not know much about it. This car has had tens of thousands of miles put on since the accident so you know the accident won't affect the drive ability. Since it is a salvage title, the insurance and registration is cheaper!
The interior of the car is in great shape! All the seats are in great shape with no tears or rips. The carpet does not have any holes or tears. The interior smells nice and clean with no weird odor or smell. The headliner is also nice and clean it is not sagging anywhere. The dual pano sunroof is closed shot it does not open. I don't know why, I bought it that way. It does not leak as the headliner shows its clean with no water marks. Other than the sunroof, everything works in the inside.
The exterior of the car is in great shape. No major dents or dings. It does have minor scratches and bruises from being a used car. All the lights work like they should. All the glass and doors open and close fine. All the lights and glass are all crack free. The paint is in great condition all over the car except the front hood has some dull spot, you might be able to buff it out but you can't really see it unless you are up close and pay attention. I have uploaded close up photos of the dull spots and clear coat flaking areas. It has catchy rims which make the car look really sporty. Overall the exterior is in good shape.
Mechanically, the car is great shape! No Check Engine Light or any warning lights on what so ever. You know on a Mercedes that is telling a lot! It has a light for everything! It just passed the very strict CA emissions with no problems. It does not leak any fluids and the car drives pretty solid with no weird noises or vibrations. Since it has upgraded wheels if you turn the wheel really hard, and I mean really hard, it rubs a little. This is supercharged so when you start from cold start it needs to warm up for a about 30 seconds. All Kompressor models need to be started up. Does not affect anything else in anyway. We have replaced a lot of parts over the last year and a half. We had the conductor plate (very common on this car) replaced. We also replaced the Catalytic converter, all the coils, o2 sensor, vacuum pump, injectors, and the supercharger. We also replaced the screen inside the instrument cluster and a couple of other sensors. Whenever it need something we took care of it.Overall, it is a fun little car.
I bought this car off of a friend over 3 years ago. I drove it around and my sister drove it the most of the time and it has been great to us. It is very fun to drive as it's small and has a lot of torque. I have the title in my hand along with the smog check paper. I am very confident this car will make a cross country road trip but again this is a used car that is more than a decade old. I strong encourage an inspection before purchase. I have explained in detail of the car as much as I know. If you have specific questions or need photo or videos of any thing specific you can call / txt me anytime at 626 232 1831!
