1999 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class sport Description

**ALWAYS BEEN A CALIFORNIA CAR**
1999 SL500 with Sport Package featuring staggered 18' AMG wheels, sport bumpers, and rocker panels. Everything works except the CD changer. It has a " No Magazine" error even when it's loaded with discs. Car has been daily driven. Drives great! Smooth powerful engine and even stronger brakes. The miles are high compared to the other SL's here on EBAY but on the newer style M113 V8's from Mercedes this is not an issue. Also with the sport package this car is a great value! This car also has standard suspension with no hydraulics making the car more reliable. Convertible Top works as designed with no issues! Comes with hard top and windscreen on Roll Bar! These items are expensive and hard to purchase if they don't come with the car.
As far as mechanical things, every now and then I get a popping from the front end but it drives straight and true. I imagine control arms or ball joints. Also I think it maybe time for the valve cover gaskets to be replaced. Other than that once in a while I get a light for ESP that comes on. It doesn't come on often enough for me to worry about it. Car is fun and great for trips!
