2004 Mercedes-Benz M-Class 3.5L Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Mercedes Benz ML 350 with just 132k miles. I would rate the exterior of this ML to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Brilliant Silver over Charcoal leather (real leather) interior. The silver finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Merc. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The most noteworthy thing to point out about the body of this ML is the lack of rust. I couldn't find any body rust on the exterior of this truck, which is very uncommon. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this ML 350 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not worn excessively. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are soft, supple and comfortable...showing minimal wear for their age. The worst I can say is that some of the stitching is loose on the front passenger's seat cushion. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. This ML has the optional dark wood interior trim, which really adds a subtle warmth to the interior. The audio system is original. When I got this truck, I needed to replace the battery...which is why the audio screen is showing the code request. I will try to call and get the code, if I remember to do so. If not, it is as simple as a quick call to any Mercedes dealership with the last 8 of the vin. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner will freeze you out of this truck. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. Pride in ownership shows throughout this ML 350. Mechanically, this ML appears to be in good running and driving condition. The V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong, just like she should. As you can see, there are a few idiot lights on. They are BAS, ABS and Traction (I believe that is the 3rd one). In my road test, the braking system appears to be working properly and stops this truck easily without any issues. Typically, these lights are thrown by a sensor needing replaced. She hits the road as straight as an arrow. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I'd drive this ML anywhere without a second thought. If you're in the market for a used ML, you know what's out there... If you want a clean example that doesn't have a ton of miles and isn't covered in rust bubbles, this 2004 ML 350 deserves your careful consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
