AMG SLK55 Widebody with Kleemann supercharged motor in it 441 WHP
2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Description
Thisis a 2006 AMG SLK55. They only imported 600 V-8 SLK's to America, so it is a rare car to start with. It has just over 90k on the chassis, and about 10k on the motor. I have replaced all the wearable things on the car ie: brakes, tie rod ends, steering components, etc. The maintenance has always been kept up with and was performed by an AMG certified tech. I have never cut any corners with this car. If it needed something it got it, and it was done right. I have all the domentation for all the work that has ever been done to the car including the Kleemann motor which was installed by an AMG tech. This car has never had anybody work on it but an AMG tech.
Body:It has a custom front bumper and wide body kit added to the car to give it it's aggressive look. The car was made to resemble the AMG SL65 black series or the McLaren SLR.We added the heat release vents to the hood and rear diffuser to the rear. The wing goes through the trunk and attaches with quick release pins to a pan in the trunk floor. The convertible hard top was retained and still functions (although you cannot use the wing with the top down.) The wing is also very easy to remove if you hate it. The wing was patterned after the Mercedes DTM race cars.
Motor: The motor is a W113 5.4 litre AMG V-8. We added : The Kleemann supercharger, cams, throttle bodies, intake runner tubes, Kleemann headers with V-band clamps, larger fuel system including a separate fuel pump, oiling system, and Kleemann tuned computer. The motor generates 441 WHP and 440 WTQ. It makes 531/538 at the crank respectively. This was made using only 2 psi. You can easily turn the boost up to 12-14 psi and make double the horsepower. I paid $26,000.00 for the motor before installation, so I was never wild about the idea of beating on the car. It is a small car, so 440whp is pretty ridiculous as it is. There is plenty of room for more power.
Transmission:This has the 7 speed m-Tronic transmission that was tuned by Kleemann. It had some different electrical parts installed in it (by the same AMG tech). It shifts clean and fast. It is well suited to the car and engine. It has the same large metal paddle shifters mounted on the streering wheel that the McLaren SLR, E63, and C63's all use. They are high quality and give a satisfying click when you use them. There is a comfort, sport, and manual mode you can use with the transmission each changing the cars dynamics entirely.
Tires and wheels:The wheels are AMG wheels from a W211 E55 and they are staggered. They are 10.5" in the rear, and 9.5" in the front. The tires are NITTO 555's. The fronts are in good shape, but the rear needs to be replaced. I will replace them before I ship the car to the new owner.
Exhaust:3" internal diameter stainless steel Tig welded from the headers to the tips. It has AMG tips on it. The factory cats and mufflers have been removed and is running some stainless steel aftermarket 4"resonators so it doesn't drone on the highway as bad. It sounds amazing. I know if you hear it you will buy it. Call me so you can hear it. My number is listed belowBrakes:6-piston in the front, and 4-piston in the rear. The rotors are internally vented and perforated composite disc which are 360mm in the front and 330mm in the rear. These are the factory brakes on the AMG SLK55.
Suspension:H&R springs
This car was put for sale in an auction on ebay last year and was sold for $60,100.00. The buyer was not able to get the funds together after two weeks, so I sent a second chance offer to the next highest bedder who had bought a Corvette in the meantime.Since then the car has depreciated some. The rear tires need to be changed. There is a crack in the sideskirt about three inches long where I went over a speedbump too fast and it came down on it hard. The car honestly needs a paint job. It was originally black and I had it painted again when I had the bodywork done. The painter used good quality paint and did a good job, but he never wet sanded, cut, or polished it. Now with the crack in the sideskirt it needs a really good paint job to reach it's full WOW potential. The car would be perfect if you had it repainted. My focus has shifted financially. I am starting a company and I am selling this to raise capital to do so. All of these reasons are why I have lowered the price over twenty thousand dollars. This is quite a concession.
I will accept trades of anything 5 years and newer that is worth equal value or more. I will also accept partial trades. I will trade for something older than 5 years, but it has to be easy to sell. IE: Supra, RX7, First gen Bronco etc.Feel free to call or text me any time with any offers. I am open to all reasonable offers. My cell phone is 7O4-six6eight-4fiveO1. Call or text me any time
