1985 Mercury Capri ASC Mclaren Description

Considered one of the rarest fox bodies as well as cars from the 1980's. This is a fully documented Mercury Capri ASC Mclaren which the original owner of 29 years saved every piece of documentation including letters from ASC Mclaren, window sticker, ASC Mclaren spec sheets, maintenance records and much more in a binder 3 inches thick (see pics). This car was a show car most its life and was routinely driven only on sunny days and covered in the garage when not. This ASC Mclaren is #36 of only 150 made in 1985. Considered to be one of the few left and in finest condition with the most provenance including appraisals as high as $36,000 from years ago! This is a true collector car with zero issues and in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. True Mustang and Capri collectors will know how rare this car is and these types of 80's cars are beginning to start their ascent in value and collectibility. Everything functions and works on the car including the fog lights and special air horn that only the ASC Mclaren's have - it's loud! Even the original and factory radar detector functions perfectly!
There is ZERO rust and no issues with the paint, body, interior, headliner, wheels... etc. This car is in as new condition as you could hope or imagine. This car is ready to be collected, showed at car shows and driven! I've personally driven the car only three times and it is stored in a climate controlled garage. It was shipped recently from Hawaii and the front license frame can be easily removed. The front license frame was custom constructed to utilize the two holes in the upper bumper on the inside so as to not ruin the front bumper appeal with 2 unwanted holes. Additionally, the original floor mats (all 4 included) were covered and never exposed to use so they are in NEW condition. This car has been taken care of in an OCD fashion.
