1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Pro Street.Professionally built by Redline Automotive Competition Engines and Ernie MacDaniels Race cars.Everything is new and top brand race/street parts, no exspense spared.2x3 box steel chassis from front to back, 12 pt. moly cage, Alston back half and Chassis Engineering front half (done at different times), Ladder bars, Strange Billet double adj. coil overs frot and rear, Chassis Engineering light weight control arms, Flaming River steering rack/ steering shaft, U-joints, polished GM column and Banjo style steering wheel, beautiful tin work around the motor, Wilwood 4 piston composite caliper disc brakes on all 4 wheels, braided brake lines, strange master cyl mounted in the floor with 2lb residual valve, line lock, 9" rear w/ brace, 4:88 gear, spool, 31 spline strange axles with 5/8" pro stock studs, Moroso long studs up front, 15 x 16 Convo pros, 15 x 4 convo pros, 33 x 21.5 MT Sportsman Pro rear tires, VW front tires, 2 brand new Optima Red top batteries mounted in the trunk, power kill switch, entire car was Professionally rewired by G's Performance using Zinc coated marine wire/fittings/shrink wrap and weather pac connectors, roll bar mounted ARC control box, All Autometer Ultralite racing gauges including a custom one off gauge cluster in the lower center dash, 15 gal aluminum fuel cell, 2 : 1/2" aluminum fuel lines front to back, one line is a return using a set up from Product Engineering at the regulator up by the motor, Holley Blue pump, Fram fuel filter, AN fittings and braided line was used.1972 pump gas 351 Cleveland with (just installed) AFD aluminum race/street heads race/ street prepped by Voss Racing Engines, ARP bolts on everything, Huge comp cams old school 598 lift cam and lifters, Jomar stud girdles, Harland Sharpe full roller rockers, guide plates, double springs, Ferrea stainless 2.19/1.72 valves, Roush intake matchported to the new heads, WilsonManifolds Dominator adapter, 880 cfm Dominator built and tuned by E= MC2 (blueprinted), BSR (BBC) oil pan w/ a Cleveland bolt pattern, belt driven wet sump oil system with remote filter, Ford Boss rotating assembly (balanced and blueprinted), CSR electric water pump, CVR hi ttorque mini starter, 6" tall fabricated aluminum valve covers, Hooker jet hot coated big tube headers, custom one off 3" Flowmaster exhaust done by Trans Am Depot, All MSD ignition system, C&R Visteon aluminum radiator with a 16" Spal elec. fan, Braided lines and AN fittings on everything in the car, 69 Corvette 427 big block Turbo 400 trans with a JW Ultrabell adapter bellhousing to go to the Ford motor, all ATI internals including a center support shaft built to handle 1200hp, 3500 stal, sfi flywheel, Hurst Quarter stick with line lock button, Lokar dip stick, external trans cooler with all braided lines and AN fittings, new custom drive shaft, Royal Purple Synthetic fluids in everything.Gorgeous paint and body done in a bright orange with an orange/gold pearl and 4 coats of high solids UV clear, wet sanded and buffed, new black top, all new glass on the entire carm every piece of trim has been redone including both bumpers, all new seals throughout, rear wing, front spoiler, Eliminator stripe, subtle body mods include : shaved Cougar scripts and side markers, late model door handles, one off custom tilt forward 6" fiberglass cowl hood finished off on the underside just as nice as the outside, custom hood prop and decklid prop, linear actuated front headlight doors, all bars have been removed from the tail lights to give it that Shelby look, Sequential lights work perfect, all lighting works perfect, was power windows originally/now manual,, perfect black dash, poly buckets with covers, fully carpeted including the trunk area, SST racing harnesses and window net, center console.While the car was in the race shop getting the heads installed last month I had them go over eveyything on the car to make sure it was ready to hit the streets when I got it back........... She's ready !!!Set up for use on the street but could easily be a 8 or 9 sec racecar with more power, needs nothing but a new owner, gets attention eveywhere it goes, definately one a of a kind 69 Cougar.Selling to set up my restoration and custom shop, I do not need to sell the car or need help selling it.Shipping and/or transportation is the buyers responsability and not included in the final sale price.
