1951 Mercury Other Car Description

You are bidding on a 1951 Mercury coupe that has less than 2500 miles since completion. This car was a full body off restoration and a lot of custom work went into it. The car was first media blasted and sheet metal work was started. Chopped the top and fit a 50 merc window. The doors, hood and deck lid where rounded off on the corners. Rear wheel covers where fabricated from scratch. We dropped the floors 5 inches. Then fitted a 53 Desoto front grill with a 52 Buick bumper. The color is a Fiat brown with black metallic.

The car is sitting on an 80’s gm car chassis. Which is accompanied by a full Ridetech suspension. Shock wave air bags on all corners, Ridetech control arms and 4 link. It also has the full Ridetech ride pro digital system in it. It has Willwood 4 piston brakes front and rear, as well as an E-Stop e brake. As for engine we went with a Turnkey Engine Supply 470hp LS2 backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission. This car runs great and gets great fuel economy.

The interior of the car was all custom built out of wood and fiberglass. It has BMW leather and suede in it. Has A/C and heater. All Nu-Rellic power windows. Classic interments gauges, flaming river steering column and wheel. Has a full stereo in it as well. The entire inside of the car was also Dynomatted.

This car runs and drives great. We have done well with it at a few car shows and you get compliments everywhere you take it. It is turnkey ready to go. As you can tell no expenses where spared.
