1972 Mercury Montego GT Description

Hello and thank you for looking, I have listed this car for a friend. This incredible beautiful, frame off restoration took a period of around 3 years to complete. Every bolt, nut and screw has been cleaned, replaced or fabricated. This car is not a 10 but it is one of the best looking, best put together car restorations that I have seen in awhile. You are looking at a 1972 Mercury Montego GT, It has a completely rebuilt 460 with a C-6 transmission. The car metal is all original, it was block sanded and painted with a base coat clear coat finish really nice close to perfect, I would give it a high 8. Perfect driver. This car comes with 235/70/R15 B F Good ridge T/As on aftermarket rally GT wheels. It has a 9 inch none posse rear end, with new brakes, master cylinder, brake booster, new hoses, calipers, complete new frontend bushings, shocks and aluminized 2 1/2 dual exhaust flow masters fabricated to perfection. This motor is not original but it definitely feels correct. Montego has a complete new NOS interior with a very nice tucked under vintage air incorporated into original vents and defrost and heat system that looks and feels better then original. I have attempted to describe this car to the best of my ability. This is a serious auction and all bids and sales are final, so bid only if you have the funds and the ability to buy this car. This car is a driver but since total restoration, it has been driven less than 100 miles if it is going across country I would recommend trans port.
