97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST
Hi, I'm looking to sell a nice clean eclipse Spyder with 93k original miles. The car comes fully built from the ground up and is fun to drive. The convertible top was recently replaced and is covered with a 6 year warranty. I bought this car from a dealership in NEback in August 2015. Iabsolutely love these cars, in fact this one was my 4th2g Eclipse andby farmy baddestone yet. When it arrived it needed a little TLC to bring it back to life. I replaced the convertible top, replaced the starter, added another batteryin the trunk, new tires, painted the valve cover, changed the power steering belt, spark plugs, and gave it an oil change. I removed all the decals which consist of 3d Motorsports (who did all the work and fabrications) Buschur racing (who built the motor) and listed bolt on parts. Been thinking about tinting the windows but since I only drive it on nice days with the top down, kind of pointless. The car is currently tuned at 15psi making around 350hp.The reason its tuned down is because....... (Here comes the bad part)..... upon doing a compression test, one of the cylinders read 120 and the other three read 190. Come to find out the exhaust valve either didn't seat right, is chipped, or has debris stuck to it. the build only has 12k miles on it so your guess is as good as mine. the good news is the part cost $18 from buschur but sad to say requires the head to be removed and that's about $1k job, unless you know what your doing then this is a steal for you. The car also has no MASS AIR SENSOR so it will need to warm up to idle right. As it stands, the car is drivable, it has a tune on it. It will need another tune once its fixed to increase the power. should make around 600whp depending on the turbo or injectors, what ever maxes out first.the motor is good for 1000+whp. I hate to sell this car especially for the price I'm asking considering I'm about $10k in, including the price of the car.I was going to fix it and retune it but for Christmas I got the opportunity to own a 2015 EVO FE. with that said I'm focusing my funds torwars that and don't need 3 cars so letting this one go, besides I'm moveing and don't have room for it. I'm asking $5,500 and will cost around $1,500 to fixand retune it at a shop. This is a all around nice car that somebody didn't want to spend anymore money into, cant blame them, they had to of spent close to 20k on this car.
