2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR Lamborghini Paint AME 19" Wheels Coilovers
2010 Mitsubishi Evolution Description
Up for sale is my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR with fastpass keyless entry and start. I purchased this car from a friend of mine 3 years ago with the intent of keeping it for myself and my family to use as a daily driver/show car.
Let me be clear that no expense was spared to properly bring this 1 off beauty to its current form. The pictures show what the car really looks like in person. The paint is that flawless no filters or Photoshop here!
In the spirit of honesty and transparency I will tell you up front that this vehicles title is a Rebuilt/Reconstructed status. The car was not in an accident of any sorts, it was damaged because it slid off the road into a dirt embankment. I can prove all of this by showing you the CarFax and showing you pictures of the car in pre-repair condition. I have absolutely nothing to hide and have all receipts for all parts and repair services performed that brought it to its current state.
Vehicle has an original 27,766 miles on it; this can be confirmed with DMV, CarFax and Mitsubishi Motors via a check of the VIN # which I have listed here in the auction. The miles may go up slightly as I move it around during the week to keep the battery from dying but it won't go up much from there as it is not driven. I own the car free and clear and I just paid the DMV registration through March of 2017. Car just passed California SMOG and Brake Lampinspectionwith flying colors. I have the title in my name in hand ready to be transferred upon sale. Car drives beautifully with zero issues, no check engine lights and all maintenance is up to date for the motor and drivetrain.
Below is what was done to the car in regards to repairs/upgrades. I have all receipts:
New OEM Aluminum hood. The original hood was actually not damaged but it had a little dip in the front that I did not like and I knew it would bother me with the quality of the paint job so I replaced it. Also installed a new pair of Aeroquip hood pins and they are functional, not just for looks.
Authentic Do Luck Fiberglass trunk. Original trunk was fine but I planned on keeping this car forever and I really like the Do Luck duckbill look so I purchased it and had it custom painted with the car.
Both driver and passenger side skirts with OEM non aero skirts.
OEM front fender liners as the old ones were ugly and dirty.
Drivers side inner skirt. This item did not need to be replaced it could have been repaired but like I said I was planning on keeping this car and I wanted my family and I to feel 100% safe in the car so I elected to replace it even though it cost me a bundle. Purchased new from Mitsubishi.
Drivers side rear ¾ panel was replaced with new OEM unit. Cooks collision in Riverside replaced this for me. They have aphenomenalchassis guy over there whose only job is to do these replacements. He did an incredible job as it looks like OEM and you can't even tell it was done. All OEM sealants and welding was done. Just incredible work! That labor alone was $3800 and the ¾ panel new from Mitsubishi was over $800.
Three of the doors were replaced with new OEM doors. This wasn't because of damage but because of dings and imperfections I did not like.
Front drivers side lower control arm replaced.
Rear driver side suspension control arms.
Car is currently equipped with Stance Pro Comp 3way coilover suspension with SWIFT spring upgrade. I purchased these new and were $3500 with the SWIFT spring upgrade. They come with remote oil reservoirs and are already custom installed. Feel free to look these up on their website.
AME TM02 Tracer wheels brand new in 19 x 10.5 +22 offset with brand new Falken FK453 275 30 19 tires. These were over $3200 and have zero miles on them. Already mounted and balance with new Muteki lugnuts. These match the color scheme perfectly and have a deep lip.
The engine, turbo, intercooler and exhaust systems are 100% stock front to back with no modifications. The tune on the car is factory OEM stock from Mitsubishi. This motor has never been tuned.
The previous owner experienced an engine problem at 21,000 miles and Mitsubishi replaced the engine free of charge. The motor only has about 6,000 miles on it and this can be confirmed with paperwork and you can also contact Mitsubishi to confirm this. This was done just before I purchased the car.
Transmission was just fully rebuilt by Jacks Transmissions in Colorado. It had a grind in 3rd gear and I couldn't stand it so I had it redone. Transmission has zero miles on it and I have all receipts. This was $1500. Also the AYC pump was just replaced under Mitsubishi's recall at the local dealership.
The original color of the car was OEM silver. I didn't like that color so I had it painted Lamborghini Grey using Sikkens paint products. The color is called Griggio Telesto. If you know paint, you know that Sikkkens is the best that money can buy and WILL NOT CHIP. There are SEVERAL layers of clear coat on the car. . .in excess of 7. . .. this is not some single stage paint job. The absolute BEST here!
The headlights and taillights are original with OEM HID system and have been paint smoked professionally.
The entire car was disassembled with all windows all doors and every bolt removed down to the chassis. Everything was sanded and primed and a full professional paint job was performed. You would never be able to tell it was painted and color changed as no expense was spared to do the job correctly. This paint job cost in excess of $ 10,000 and was performed by GP Customs in Riverside California. Again this can all be confirmed and proved with receipts and phone calls.
The car is a beautiful color that at times in the shade looks almost black and in the direct light looks like a battleship grey. You will not find another Evo X like this one. . . .anywhere.
All the belt moldings at the windows were replaced new OEM. All the window moldings were replaced. All the clips and fasteners replaced with new ones. Along with hood sealers etc. . .. . . the list is too long to put here but I have all receipts.
The headliner has been wrapped in black suede and all the upper original tan plastic pieces have been dyed black to match. Now the interior looks like it should have from the factory. . .all black.
New Optima red top battery
New set of front Recaro seats from a 2014 Evo X were also installed. This really makes the car feel like its almost new
I know there are more parts that I missed but this is the bulk of them.
If you are a serious buyer feel free to contact me. I will be happy to give you a test drive and you can inspect the vehicle for yourself. I am in no rush to sell it as I don't really need the money BUT I have other projects and aspirations and selling it would allow those to happen sooner. I am open to a REASONABLE offer but please dont lowball me.
I understand what this car is, and to the right person this is a dream car and a dream opportunity.
Thanks for taking the time to read this through!
