1990 Nissan 240SX Base s13 Description

This is my son's beloved NISSAN 240 SX, which he babied and had a lot of fun with. The car features many upgrades and modifications and those will be detailed below. Everything on it works except the engine. So, all potential bidders, please note:
THE CAR IS NOT IN RUNNING CONDITION.
WINNING BIDDER WILL NEED TO ARRANGETHEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION/TOWING.
The car ran perfectly until 2 weeks ago when the lower timing chain broke. Both the lower and upper timing chains including all associated parts such as guides, tensioner, lower sprocket, etc. including oil seals and gaskets were replaced with OEM Nissan parts. Unfortunately, after the timing chains were installed, the engine did not start as most likely valve damage occurred when the timing chain broke as there is low compression in all cylinders. Reluctantly, my son has decided to sell the car and move on hoping a 240SX aficionado can swap engines and enjoy this sporty car. All that is needed is either a new engine or rebuilding this one, everything else works as it should. There were no known issues while the car was running prior to the timing chain damage.
Here are the details:
ENGINE: a rebuilt 1993 KA24DE engine (16 valves, DOHC dual cam) was installed some time ago by the previous owner. My best estimate is that there are perhaps 100,000 miles on that engine.
SHORT-SHIFTER
WHEELS: staggered ROTA D2S 17X8.5 IN REAR17X7.5 IN FRONT
TIRES: brand new HANKOOK tires with less than 300 miles on them. FRONT = 205/50 ZR17. REAR = 225/45 ZR17.
SUSPENSION: RACELAND height-adjustable coilovers installed last December.
MEGAN RACING ENGINE MOUNTS
BRAKES: rotors in good condition, all calipers replaced less than a year ago.
MSD IGNITION and MSD Blaster 2 coil
CX RACING LARGE ALUMINUM RADIATOR with ALUMINUM OVERSPILL TANK (brad new coolant)
NEW WATER PUMP just installed
QUICK RELEASE STEERING WHEEL (the original wheel, which is in great condition will come with the car)

The body is in good condition and consistent with the car's age. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A MINOR DAMAGE (TWO DENTS) AND A FEW SCRATCHES TO THE FRONT LEFT FENDER. These are shown in the photos. The paint is good and so is the clear coat.
