It has an "8" in the Vin number and "3567" on the original cowl tag. This one is as real as it gets! Original Vin tag is in the door opening and is original to the car. Car has all new brakes that means everything lines wheel cylinders nos drums shoes and brake booster. I also have a original radiator that's been redone to a 4 core and a nos shroud that comes with the car.
From what I know about this car it was purchased from the original owner estate. The person I bought it from had the car stripped downtobare metal, painted it the original color of Garnet Mist Metallic, installed a new White Convertible Top, and had new matching and correct Red/White seat covers installed. He put a new larger aluminum radiator and a electric fan for safety while driving this car.All chrome and stainless molding are the original and very nice. All the glass is original to the car as I understand. Car is very straight and no rust at all. Please look at the original factory "Red Oxide" floor pans!!! These are the original floor pans and cardboard surround in the trunk is still in place! I have a set of the original keys with the key numbers not punched out.
Optionsare the original 394/315 HP Rocket 4 BBL V8 engine, riginal 3 speed automatic transmission, riginal rear end housing! Power Steering, ower Brakes, ower Convertible Top, onderbar AM radio, eluxe Hub Caps are in place. It has a CD Player installed but it is hidden in the glove box and instrument gauges installed under the dash just to keep more in touch with the engine functions while driving and enjoying this wonderful Oldsmobile. Car is to be actual miles but they are exempt because it is over 10 years old. I do not have a photo of the car with the top down, t works perfect. Matching red top boot is with the car also. Not sure what you call it but most of the factory original felt or heavy cloth material that is in between the rear springs that keep them from squeakingis still there!
I appreciate any Oldsmobile collector to please come look at this car, t is amazing! These do not come to market very often. From what information I can find they only made 5830 of these cars, lot more rare than even a Olds 98 Convertible. In perspective they made 79,903 Chevrolet Impala Convertibles in 1960. These Super 88 Convertibles are very very rare!

Please keep in mind that this is an unrestored car withslick slick paint, new top, ew seat covers, adiator, an. I am sure the tires are not original to the car but you understand what I am saying. It is a total survivor except for these things. I have been searching and cannot find another one this nice without a complete restoration, ave not actually found another one for sale in any condition that is a true "3567" car. Remember they are only original once. I ran a magnet all over this car. It stuck every where I put it.
