This is a solid old driver quality car. The paint is presentable but has several chips, knicks and showing its age. The car is really overall solid. Please look closely at the photos. She is showing some age, but still a beauty. This is a car that you can drive and tinker with now or restore to the level of your choice. Enjoy the presentation and feel free to call or email with any questions.

The exterior displays an older repaint in the correct red & white color combination, confirmed by the data plate. There is even original paint in areas, such as under the trunk lid. The car is really a straight example. All of the glass is intact as well, showing some laminate seperation around a few edges, but not too bad. The chromework appears to be all original and is all there. There is some pitting and age, but more of a patina than anything. Its a good lookin Olds 88.

Open the doors to 1955. The interior displays factory seating with red & white vinyl upholstery front to back. The dash showcases the unique original brightwork that really makes the Oldsmobiles unique. The original gauge cluster is in place along with the original AM pushbutton radio (no sound)

Under the hood is Buick's famous Nailhead V8. This is the 324 cubic inch factory mill. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support steel is solid original.

The trunk displays the original mat still. The pan appears to be solid throughout along with the spare tire well. The spare tire and jacking equipment is in place.

The car appears to be exceptionally solid underneath. Again, feel free to contact Bill direct at 214-683-2811 or email with any questions.
