1975 Triumph Spitfire convertible,excellent condition,older original restoration
1975 Triumph Spitfire Description
1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500 Convertible (Federal), starts, runs, and drives excellent.Older original restoration (1997).Seat padding and seat covers were replaced in 2012.
This is a very nice, solid, garage kept Spitfire in the original color of Delph Blue. (Original color not original paint).
I was planning (although not needed for it perfectly fine the way it is) on doing a full frame off restoration this winter to basically have a new Spit for next spring but have a secured lead on the only car that I like more than the Spitfire so I'm "changing gears".
These cars are fun, extremely easy to maintain and work on, all parts are readily available in used, new aftermarket and NOS.
30,738 miles but will be more for I'm still enjoying the car. (Cannot confirm if they are original miles or miles since restore.)
Some new parts installed, including new tires, brakes, heater control valve, radiator hoses, and speedo cable,a couple spare parts,a car cover, and a tonneau cover.
There are a few chips in the paint here and there, and a dime size surface rust bubble on the passenger front lower fender.A couple interior screws missing, there is a crack on the dash cover and there is a crack in the rear window of the convertible top but the entire top can be replaced for less than $350. (Then again, these cars are meant to go with the top down so....).
The car is registered and inspected for you to fully check this car out.
