Bought new in Portland in December of 1973 this MGB GT has spent its entire life cared for by 3 different owners in the Pacific Northwest. Paperwork dating back to purchase in December of 73. Early paperwork confirms this is an original Aconite colored (BLVC 95) GT, with tan interior.
Exterior is in great condition with two noticeable blemishes. The first is a bubble just above the chrome on the passenger side quarter panel. The second is surface rust on the rear bumper, just left of center where the British flag magnet is. Other than that very desirable car from 100 ft to 3 ft.
Engine is strong, clutch is strong, and the car starts, idles, and gets up to speed quickly. I generally cruise it around 73-75 MPH on the freeway, zipping right along.
Multiple local show award recipient this car has been garaged and is driven on a weekly basis and runs great. Car has been converted to a 12volt system. CD player was added in the 90’s. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork from clutch replacement, valve adjustments to wiper blades and blinker lights the previous owners kept everything. Original tool bag (jack) accompanies the spare in the back trunk area as well.
The new owner will not be disappointed with this car. Purchasing an older 911 so our MGBGT needs to go. We have enjoyed this car immensely and look forward to passing it onto another MG enthusiast with similar passions in automobiles.
