This is a rare and unusual Healey. It is the2-seater BN6 in a rare standard configuration– no over drive and disk wheels. BN6s are clearly the best and most desirable of 100-6s. BN6s were limited in production especially in this configuration. Shown in Bill Piggots latest Healey book Factory Original Austin Healey 100/6 & 3000 on page 30.
Also making this car very unique and collectable is that it wasrestored by Roger Moment. He completed a complete nut and bolt restoration in 2007 and the car has very limited miles since then. Roger is recognized as the opinion leader on Austin Healey originality and authenticity. He is a prolific technical writer on Healeys and maintains the Concours Guidelines. This BN6 is one of the few he has personally totally restored. The quality of his work and his attention to detail and originality is obvious.
When the restoration was complete, Roger wrote a detailed article about the car and published it as the feature article in the Austin Healey Magazine in the fall of 2007.
The car was judged at the 2008 San Diego Conclave and achieved theConcours Goldlevel certification.
All numbers match the Heritage Certificate. Photographs of the Chassis, Body, and Engine Number Plates will be emailed upon request. I have many more photos and can easily email.
The car comes with: All tools, jack and jack handles and bag. CD of all the restoration photos. Side curtains and bag. Owners Handbook. Original keys. Heritage Certificate, Concours Gold Grill Badge, Two piece professionally mounted boards of the 2007 Healey magazine article. The Concours judging results.
Not sure the odometer is correct due to the age of the car.
