2003 Saturn Ion Description

INTERIOR
INTERIOR POSITIVES:The condition of the interior, believe it or not, is very similar to a brand new car, even after 13 years; that says a LOT about the owner. A non-smoker owns this car, and it has NO odd aromas or strange scents coming from anywhere (which is something I look for when I am thinking about purchasing a new vehicle). There are NONE of the following:TearsStainsRipsCigarette burnsOther burnsSpillsQuestionable "what the heck is that?" markings, etc.
The bars that move the bucket seats in front are very easily maneuverable, and do not stick, jerk, or cause your blood pressure to rise from the sheer annoyance of not being able to adjust them; they're in awesome condition
INTERIOR NEGATIVES: NONE (interior is in pristine condition)

MECHANICAL ISSUES (VERY MINOR)As previously stated above, the REAR windows do NOT roll down. We did have a reputable mechanic look at the rear windows, and we were told it was NOT a complicated fix. It had something to do with the diodes and flow. We simply chose not to have them fixed because we don't actually use the rear windows (the front windows work without any issue).
As previously stated above, the left front (driver's side) wheel bearing needs to be replaced. It will cost $150.00 exactly, for the part and the installation should you choose to use the mechanic we got the *guarantee* from. It is a well-known, reputable mechanic shop. Any *legitimate* prospective buyers who actually come to look at the car and test drive it, will have access to the mechanic shop's phone number, address, and the mechanic's phone extension.
As previously stated above, it needs a *Freon Recharge*. Nothing is wrong with the A/C system, it's simply "out of juice". It's cheap to fix and *anyone* can use those cans to recharge their freon. It truly is something anyone should be able to do themselves (it's $40 or $60 depending on which can pack you want according to NAPA Auto Parts).

There is absolutely, positively, NOTHING ELSE wrong with this vehicle.
In other words, to fix what *needs* to be fixed, you'll be out *maybe* $200 (two hundred) bucks._____________________________________________________________________________
WHY WE WANT TO SELL IT:The number one question people ask a private seller is, "If the car is that great, why do you want to sell it?" It's a logical, practical question. Here is our answer...
...Once upon a time, a man and a woman met each other and fell in love virtually instantly. As their relationship blossomed, they realized it was definitely going to have to be a life long commitment to each other, and to God (we're joined at the hip so to speak). The issue is: both man and woman have a vehicle of their own. Full coverage on one car is bad enough...but two? No thank you! The woman has a "sentimental attachment" to her car - the man does not. To avoid a scene involving a baseball bat and headlights (yes, we are kidding), we have decided to sell the car that does not come with a sentimental attachment. It really and truly is that simple.
THIS IS a SUPERB car and has many, many, many more years of dependability. We hope whoever decides to buy it - takes care of its needs as well as we have, in order to keep it in the condition it is currently in.
(You will not regret the choice to purchase this vehicle)
