QUOVIS is built for wheelchair users ... hand controls for gas & brake, air-conditioning, power windows, power door hatch with automatic ramp and power accessories are standard. A Quovis is designed for people with upper body control. You must be able to:

QUOVIS features front wheel drive with Constant Velocity Transmission(CVT) and is powered by a 505cc fuel-injected computer controlled engine. This technology enables Quovis drivers to achieve 90mpgin urban areas.

Quovis is manufactured in Spain, backed by automotive engineering professionals with over 50 years of industry experience. In Europe the Quovis is classified as a quadricycle and may be driven on public streets. The quadricycle is strictly a classification based on weight and it is not subjected to the same regulations as passenger cars.

In North America the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) does not recognize the concept of a quadricycle, but has set safety standards for Low Speed Vehicles (LSV). Quovis exceeds the NHTSA safety standards, but there are operational guidelines that apply to the use of the Quovis in North America. The States are responsible for the enforcement of Motor Vehicle Laws and the LSV regulations as it applies to the use of the Quovis on public highways varies by State. Most States now have LowSpeed Vehicle title and registration classifications.

This auction is open to Dealers, Medical Equipment Distributors’ and wheelchair users. This vehicle is sold with the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin ... when you title this vehicle at your State MVA you will be listed as the first owner. This Quovis has been utilized for Auto Shows and Ability Expositions only. Dealers sell this vehicle to customers for $25,000 plus preparation.

This Quovis has been a showroom vehicle for demonstration only and is in showroom condition.

The engine on this vehicle is running properly and the battery is new. This vehicle has no known defects and has never been used on the highway. The exterior of this vehicle is extra clean with extra clean interior ... showroom condition. Absolutely no rips, odors or abuse. The tires on this vehicle appear to have no wear at all. It is designedexclusively for wheelchair users.

Replacement parts (when needed for maintenance) are available through USA parts stores. The components utilized to build this vehicle are from major OEM suppliers, i.e. BMW fuel injection system. Any certified technician is able to maintain this vehicle.

This Vexel Quovis frame and chassis was fabricated in Europe in 2005 and that year has been stamped in the frame. Component parts were taken out of storage, shipped to the USA, and the final assembly occurred in the USA 2011.

An EZ Lock system must be installed in the vehicle and an EZ Lock adaptor must be fitted to the user's wheelchair.
