The vehicle is a manual with overdrive, shifting and driving smoothly down the road. This Healey starts up immediately with its electronic fuel pump and keeps excellent oil pressure. Prior to my ownership, the front brakes had been upgraded to disc brakes for better stopping with today's driving conditions and the car also has an upgraded racing radiator to provide optimal cooling for the car. Hoses and wires are in good condition. All lights, horn, turn signals, etc. in good operable condition. Current mileage on the odometer is 72,850 which is believed to be original but cannot be registered as such due to the age of the car. Cosmetically, the car received a high quality repaint about one year ago in its original black color and is in excellent condition as shown in the photos. The chrome on this car is in excellent condition as seen in the photos. The interior has beautiful red leather seats with excellent patina. The car also comes with a Moss motors red vinyl replacement kit for interior panels (front and rear door panels, kick panels, etc.) and dash cover, however, the interior in the car is in good condition with a good patina. It has its original laminated windscreen and has side driver and passenger windscreens and is fitted with a period side view mirror on the driver's side. The car has its original top and frame which is off the car (the car is always garaged and only driven in good weather) and also comes with a new top skin from Robbins should you choose to recover. This Healey also comes with a full black tonneau cover, its original spare and a British tool kit suitable for this car. The car also comes with a custom cover from California Car Covers (see photo). This is a very honest, beautiful and great driving Healey that has been my personal classic car for spring and summer weekend cruises. Please contact me with any questions or to schedule a time to view the car which is located in Chicago.
