1979 MG Midget Description

1979 MG MIDGET 1500 cc (The last year of the Midget)
I purchased this car in 2014 after being in storage for three years. Unfortunately, last year my wife passed and I have 18 other project cars I need to work on, so as a result I am now selling this car. From my knowledge, the car has always been in Florida. It only has some rust on the front of the hood on the underside (see pictures). The rest of the car, floor, and frame have no rust and is in solid condition. There is damage on the rear right fender which occurred while in storage (see pictures). The locking mechanism is not on the right side door, but the hardware is in the glove box and needs to be installed (see pictures).
Things I've done to the car since purchase:
-cleaned the gas tank
-had the carburetor rebuilt
-had brakes checked
-new water pump
-all lights checked
-new battery
The car starts, runs, and breaks well.
The exhaust system is in perfect condition.
The corner plastic window on the right side needs repair on the convertible top (see picture).
The interior is in very good and original condition. The dash has no cracks.
All gauges are in working order, including the odometer.
The steering wheel, seats, and interior side panels have no damage and are in very good condition.
The interior light when the doors are open also work.
The trunk is very clean and has the spare jack and tools. The light also turns on when the trunk is opened.
Overall this car is very ready to be finished and enjoyed.
The car has a low reserve.
