I'm selling my 1997 Geo Prizm LSI.This vehicle has a 1.8L Toyota Engine, Toyota Automatic Transmission, and Body the exact same as a Toyota Corolla, except cheaper. This car is in my name with Clean Title,it has Clean Car Fax and No accidents. This is a strong car that I have confidently drove all over Los Angeles from Santa Barbara to Orange County and from the coastline to Pomona. I have maintained this car very well including putting a new engine with 93,000 miles on it in 2014.After my mechanic installed the new engine the ABS light went on but he and every other mechanic says it's no problem and does not affect anything.I have since put about 20,000 miles on it and engine fires right up and is Good and Strong.The transmission works great, it changes gears fast and this little car can pick up speed pretty quick.New battery 2 mos old.Tires replaced 2 years ago and I have all the paper work on this car.Good Brakes but they just squeek a little sometimes.Smog has always passed with me on this car however about a month ago the check engine light went o, my mechanic says it's a simple fuse and showed me how to change it but I don't want to mess with it. My mechanic is in Canoga Park and says he can easy fix and smog also. I'm not sure how much but he's always good prices. I put new radiator and new engine mounts a couple years ago and every oil change (full synthetic) my mechanic checks everything.There is a small leak in the rack and pinion (by the power steering pump) but again, two different mechanics say it does not affect anything mechanically and does not need to be fixed.

The interior seats are a light blue color but were stained when I bought it but I put car seat covers on and looks fine.Air Con works Good and cold, Heater nice and hot.Power doors, Power windows. Amazing on gas!Strong car, fun to drive, good visibility around all windows.

CONCERNING VEHICLE PICK-UP:

Pickup must occur within SEVEN (7) days of the end of the auction, unless other arrangements are made with us. There will be a storage fee of $20.00 per day for any vehicle left on our premises after this time, unless prearrangements are made.

CONCERNING SMOG (CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY) 1976 AND NEWER VEHICLES:

Buyer is responsible for California Smog Certificate. My mechanic told me only a fuse needs to be replaced before smog but it is BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY. I make no guarantees as to the vehicle passing or failing an emission test.

The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 states you can transfer and register the vehicle in your name with the DMV right away, before smog. The DMV provide 90 days of temporary registration for you to get Compliance Smog Certificate. This allows buyer time to get smog certificate.
