I am a collector and have a sudden major storage problem so I'm selling off some of my project cars. This is a 81 TR7 convertible in very nice condition. I traded it and another car for one of my cars last year... unfortunately the seller (ebayer) lied to me about the condition and history. He told me it was fully serviced then placed in climate controlled storage and driven semi regularly... clearly this was not true. I will disclose fully what I know... The car is in very good to excellent condition aesthetically... it is straight and rust free with a nice body kit installed. Paint is recent and of decent driver quality. Interior is beautiful in excellent condition. The car runs good and drives but has a major overheating problem... pretty sure its the head gasket. I just don't have time or interest to mess with it. It is complete and comes with some spares and a brand new top not installed. I have a clean clear matching numbers title for the car.
I gave top dollar for this car in the trade... I'm selling to the highest bidder at no reserve... I'm going to lose a ton of money but oh well... I need the space badly.
Overall this is a nice little classic in very nice condition all around... Awesome potential weekend cruiser, show car, or addition to any collection...this is a great one for any triumph enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car at a great price.
