Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
First we will take a look at the exterior of the Road Runner. When you look down the sides you are sure to like what you see. It has straight panels with good fit. Everything is covered in the Sunfire yellow that was done over 15 years ago and still has a deep rich shine. The paint is accented by the Black on the Hood and the Black Vinyl Top. This Road Runner has the Air Grabber hood. When you look at the chrome and stainless you would think this car was done just a few years ago. All the glass looks good along with the window seals. It's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Chrome Wheels. Feel free to go to Unlawful Racing's website and see videos of the resto.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '69. On the inside it's all done black. It has the bench seats that are covered in the black vinyl. Also, the carpet is done in black as well as the headliner. It has the stock 4 Speed Hurst Shifter and Boot. When you look at the dash it looks correct with an Auto Meter Tach and Oil gauge on the Column. The radio has been upgraded to a Sony AM FM.
Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it looks good with the firewall and inner fenders being painted correct. The engine is a 484 CI Hemi that was professional built by Jack Irons of Unlawful Racing and is mated to the Matching Numbers Four Speed Trans. They used a Mopar Performance Block with a bore of 4.320. It has a Callie's 4.15" Stroke Crankshaft. It has GRP Aluminum Rods, CP Pistons, and 11.0 to 1 Compression.
