1968 Plymouth Barracuda Base Description

For sale is a 1968 Avocado Green Barracuda Notch Back with an Antique Green Roof. I purchased this car from the original owners estate more than 17 years ago. This car has under 40k original miles, I have paper work and maintenance receipts to back this up. I purchased the car to hot rod it but after driving itand realizing just how original this car was I just never had the heart to cut it up and modify. This car had bias ply snow tires on it when I got it!Over the years I have replaced the leaf springs, upgraded all brake and fuel lines to stainless steal (from Year One) and just generally maintained the vehicle. This car has perhaps the best motor Chrysler ever built, the SUPER 225. I had an old timer tell me once that they stopped making these motors because they never came back to the dealer for service, they just run and run and run. I can attest to that. The last time I started the car was about 2 years ago, to move, and with a new battery she started right up and ran smooth. When I went to move it the brake pedal went to the floor, I believe it to be one of the rubber brake lines burst. Not having time to investigate I had the car towed to my buddies garage for repair which is where it still sits, unrepaired, therefor the car will have to be towed or trailered by the new owner. The car was born and raised in NJ and has the normal rust that a car here would have (they salt the roads when it gets cloudy:( This car is like a time capsule, the dash is uncut. All gauges are there and worked the last time I drove the car. The original AM radio even worked, all be it on and off. This car has taken me on MANY trips and car shows over the years, between 1998-2007 you could find us at the Englishtown swap meet every spring (that thought just put a smile on my face). My time with this car is now over, but she has plenty left for the next owner. This is a classic old Mopar, they are disappearing and once they are gone they are gone. Here is your chance to get in the game for not a lot of money. I have set a reserve REALLY low, only because I cant give my friend away for free.

Clear NJ title. Unfortunately I have to say this but I will not hold, I will not ship, I will not trade. After you purchase you can do what ever you want. I don't care where you live or what your mom does for a living. If you are seriously interested in this car I will do everything I can to help you get it home other wise please don't waste my time or yours.
