1969 Pontiac Firebird Description
RUNS AND DRIVES
ENGINE: 1978 Pontiac 400ci 6X heads, 3 angle valve, bronze guides, surfaced, 30 over TRW forged pistons, Edelbrock RPM cam, intake and 750 cfm Edelbrock electric choke carb.
TRANSMISSION: TCI 400 with 2200 stall converter. Rear differential is still stock with a 3.08 open carrier.
BRAKES: converted to disk with a 9" booster.
SUBFRAME: has been sand blasted. New body mounts welded in with new bushings. Inner fenders, radiator support and brackets have been media blasted and painted.
FRONT SUSPENSION, STEERING COMPONENTS: new or rebuiltBODY: fenders and doors need some work, but are not bad. The rear quarters will need to be replaced. Left floor board will need repair but otherwise floors are good. Vinyl top, front and rear glass removed. Rear window frame needs minor work. I have the front end pieces.
Interior needs work. Bucket seats. Original center console missing.
